Help / Rebalance Basket Bot

Rebalance Basket Bot

Build a basket of supported tokens, choose a cadence, and let Mojomaxi check the basket over time and attempt equal-dollar rebalances when conditions justify execution. The strategy runs through its own vault, uses Jupiter-routed on-chain swaps, and writes finalized rebalance activity in-app.

How the Rebalance Bot works

Core model

  • You choose the basket assets inside the app and select an allocation mode — Equal, Custom, or Strength — to control how your basket is distributed.
  • Each rebalance set gets its own vault and strategy state.
  • A cadence schedules when the basket is checked. It does not guarantee that a trade will happen at every check.
  • Finalized rebalance results appear in Activity after execution and bookkeeping complete.

Setup steps

  1. Open /app and connect your wallet.
  2. Create a Rebalance strategy and choose the basket tokens.
  3. Pick your cadence: 30m, 1h, 2h, 6h, 12h, or 24h.
  4. Create the vault for that strategy set.
  5. Deposit funds through the Mojomaxi dashboard.
  6. Click Start once the vault meets the current funding requirement.

Current live requirements

To start a rebalance strategy, vault value must be at least max($50, selected token count × $5.50).

  • 10 tokens = $55.00
  • 11 tokens = $60.50
  • 12 tokens = $66.00
  • 13 tokens = $71.50

Mojomaxi also keeps a hard $5 minimum per rebalance leg, so very small legs are skipped instead of executed inefficiently.

Allocation modes

Every basket has an allocation mode that controls how your funds are distributed across tokens. Look for the labeled gear icon on your vault panel — it shows your current mode and opens the settings when clicked.

● Equal

The default mode. Every token in your basket gets the same dollar allocation. A 5-token basket means each token targets 20%.

  • No configuration needed — works out of the box.
  • Each rebalance cycle restores equal-dollar balance across all tokens.
  • Best for broad diversification with no directional bias.

● Custom

Set exact target percentages for each token. Weights must total 100%. On every rebalance, positions are adjusted toward your targets.

  • Stay overweight on conviction plays, reduce exposure where needed.
  • Set a token to 0% to gradually rotate it out of the basket.
  • Changes apply on the next rebalance or when starting a new basket.

● Strengthbeta

Fully automated momentum-based allocation. The engine scores each token based on recent basket-relative performance and dynamically adjusts weights — overweighting stronger tokens and fading laggards.

  • Scores tokens on 24h return, persistence (consistency), and stability (low drawdown).
  • First rebalance reflects current market strength immediately.
  • Subsequent epochs adjust gradually with conviction-building guardrails.
  • Stablecoins act as a neutral benchmark — the engine shifts into them when the market is down and out of them when tokens are running.
  • Fee-aware: skips trades when the improvement doesn't justify the 0.25% swap cost.

Where to find it

Look for the gear icon with the mode label in the upper-right corner of your vault panel. It shows your current allocation mode at a glance — Equal, Custom, or Strength. Click it to open settings and switch modes or adjust weights. Equal is the default for all new baskets.

How cadence works

Your chosen cadence schedules when Mojomaxi checks whether the basket meaningfully needs rebalance. It is a due-check schedule, not a promise that trades will happen every time (trades must be within the ~$5 per leg swap target to execute).

  • When the basket is due for a rebalance, Mojomaxi evaluates whether a worthwhile rebalance is needed.
  • If the basket is already close enough to target (within a ~$5 per leg rebalance), the bot can skip and wait for the next cadence window if the ~$5 leg is not achieved.
  • If a rebalance is justified, and individual legs meet minimum $5 size requirements, Mojomaxi attempts the needed swaps.
  • Finalized rebalance events are written after execution and post-processing is complete so it may take a minute or two for your activity panel to reflect the event after rebalance events occur.

When a rebalance may not happen

  • The basket is already close enough to its allocation target.
  • One or more legs fall below the $5 minimum execution floor.
  • The vault is underfunded relative to token count.
  • Liquidity, route availability, slippage, or token constraints make execution unattractive.
  • Infrastructure or network conditions temporarily prevent a clean execution path.

Important notes

  • Mojomaxi is non-custodial software. It does not provide financial advice or guarantee outcomes.
  • Deposits should be made through the dashboard rather than by manually sending tokens to vault addresses.
  • The Activity panel records finalized rebalance events, while the Metrics panel tracks total equity and P&L over time.
  • If you stop a strategy, no new automated rebalances should be attempted until you start it again.
